A happy thing

Even though they fight and yell and do mean things to each other, my kids actually do love each other. The other day they all just plopped onto the floor and started rolling this ball back and forth and I had to take a picture of the comradery(sp?) and the little feet touching so that the triangle that they made was enclosed so the ball wouldn't escape. It was such a great feeling seeing them play like this and especially including Seth who can sometimes be a pest. I have also caught them reading together and that is the sweetest thing ever. I eavesdrop to listen to the cute things they say. Jonathan sits in the middle and reads a story to the little ones and it is oh so precious! When I see this love, I smugly think to myself, "All my training is paying off. They are going to be friends!" Then 30 minutes later, the chasing and the blaming and the naughtiness starts all over again. But that 10 minute repreive sure makes it all worthwhile.

I am so happy for blogs. I love all the pictures that you put on of your boys. I feel like I get to know them and watch them grow up even though I am far away. Love you Leslie. You are the best mom.

Ahh, brotherly love! It's nice to see evidence that they really do love each other, as you said, despite the bickering, tattling, etc. Just treasure these moments!! (and try to remember them during all the chaos:-)
