Corona Del Mar

We went to the beach last Saturday. When we got to the beach, the parking lot was full. It turns out, there was a swim around the cove that day and there were 250 swimmers involved, so needless to say, it took us awhile to get a parking spot and get set up. I will spare you the gory details. But after we found a spot on the super crowded beach, we had a most excellent day swimming, playing in the sand, and body boarding. We ended the day with an Elder's Quorum party and a bunch of our friends from church met us for a bbq, volleyball, and s'mores. The kids absolutely love the beach and I love it too. It's mostly just fun to hang out with Lance away from our home so that we both don't feel obligated to do any work. We can just be together!

Price is so great! He is now eight months old and he is our little sweetheart! Look at that face! He does great at the beach or anywhere else for that matter. He has the nicest personality and is very happy most of the time.

Levi riding the board with Dad.

Levi having fun in the sun.

Jonathan did such an excellent job body boarding. Even when he crashed, he got right back out there to ride another wave. This is such a huge accomplishment for Jonathan who used to be afraid of the water. He gags and hurls when he gets water up his nose. Yuck.

No! I don't want to go on the boogie board!

See, we told you it would be fun!

Seth behaves so well when he is buried in the sand.

Seth had tons of fun with another boy's truck.

I miss the beach! Nevada is so dry, brown and ugly. I want to come back to visit and enjoy the color. Calgon take me away!

I got a good report from Levi and Jonathon the Sunday after. They were a little pink-cheeked and I asked why. They each told me about "surfing" and crashing and how much fun they had. Isn't it fun to just have fun!

Leslie! The boys are SO BIG! Holy cow! Remember when they were so little when we'd walk through Craig Park? I can't believe it! Anyway, I have a secret crush on Troy, too. He is so cute I think! We loved High School Musical at our house, too.:) So fun to keep up with each other.:)
