hbty, hbty, hbdp, hbty, amm!

The evolution of eating ice cream cake-the first taste...

mmm...that is delicious, maybe a little more....

ouch, my hands are frozen and I am tired of sitting in this high chair!

Happy 1st birthday, Price! Poor little guy has the curse of having his birthday the day after Christmas. Lance thinks he is going to get gypped(I just learned how to spell this word in a game of Scrabble) but I think he'll be all right. We have two nieces who have birthdays on Dec. 27 and they have a fun party every year. It is because their mother puts forth the effort to do something for them. It's all in how you do it. I must admit that this year he didn't get much, but I have never been into giving a 1 year old a big party. He got ice cream cake on the 27th and he'll get his present later today when we go to Build a Bear Workshop. Ha! Maybe next year will be better!

He is the sweetest little guy around and we love him! Yah, Price is one!

credit for this post title goes to Angela Hallstrom's g & g. In case you are saying hibbity, hibbity, aaammm, and wondering what that means like I was when I first read it, just sing the happy birthday song and you'll get it.

I didn't realize that his birthday was so close to Christmas. My birhtday is the 15th and I have to admit that I didn't like it much growing up. However, my mom did a great job and was always very good about making sure that my birthday and Christmas were two seperate events. Happy Birthday Price!! He is a cutie!

My brother-in-laws b-day is right after Christmas. I think this is great because I am always so sad when Christmas is over and this gives you more reasons to be excited! For this reason my brother-in-law loves his Birthday- I think Price will too! Cute pics Leslie!

So fun! Big James always felt gypped, too, because his bday is on the 20th, but I try to make a big deal of it, too. You are right...it's all in how you do it.:) One year he had to make his own cake! How sad is that!:) Loved your Christmas card/letter, too!;)

We have a lot of family birthdays within days of Christmas. It's gotta be rough. Plus, my friend just had her baby on Christmas Day. That must stink growing up.

Funny you mentioned Scrabble. Mom and I just got done playing. :o)

My daughter's birthday is on Halloween. I know it's not Christmas, but it's still a holiday. As it turns out, it was our favorite birthday to celebrate. Just think, he'll never have to be in school on his birthday, and he'll never have that Christmas "let down" because he'll still have something to look forward to. What a cutey!
